A message from Michelle L. Ivill, CPA

Owner

Over the years, I’ve experienced first hand how the right partners could elevate or break your business. I also learned how overwhelming it can be to oversee all aspects of your company as a small business owner - whether you are starting a new venture or further into maturity. In 2017, I realized that I could use my knowledge and unique experience to help other businesses and entrepreneurs, and I started Mendicino Management, LLC. I have a passion for working with owners who need a capable partner to help with startup, strategic planning, and growth.

I started my professional career as an auditor with Ernst & Young in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I earned my CPA. After serving clients in the manufacturing, retail, entertainment, real estate, education and banking sectors, I departed EY as a Manager and moved a leadership role within my family’s businesses.

As Executive Vice President, I oversaw the multi-million dollar operations of construction, real estate, commercial cleaning, and event hospitality businesses. I was involved in every aspect of the diverse companies - sales, marketing, estimating, accounting, project management, financing, legal, and human relations. After learning the industries and markets, I focused on redesigning processes and procedures to make the businesses more efficient and the employees more empowered. After the decision was made to wind down several of the entities in 2016, I led the closure and consolidation and am intimate with the process and emotions involved in evaluating the viability of companies and the difficult decisions and conversations required to revitalize or close them.

These are unique times. Bringing in someone who understands the numbers, has the experience to plan and forecast, and the creativity to help you navigate the path ahead will strengthen your approach to business in the post-COVID environment. I look forward to supporting your business.
